tate modern: suzanne lacy’s silver action

Hundreds of women approaching, at, or over the age of sixty participated in artist Suzanne Lacy’s performance ‘Silver Action’ in The Tanks at Tate Modern. Myself and several other people in our twenties at the time helped disseminate the project across various social media platforms.

The women involved all took part in activism and protest movements, from the Greenham Common Peace Camp to the Miss World demonstrations, and now Lacy invites them to share their stories in a series of workshops, culminating in this day-long public performance.
